A compilation of texts translated into French, most of which come from the Coptic Library of Nag Hammadi at Laval University. The Codex Tchacos, however, comes from National Geographic.
The online source of these texts contains numerous references, translator’s notes, etc. Without exaggeration, there are hundreds and hundreds of references. Therefore, in order to make reading easier—already difficult due to the often fragmented state of the texts—I have removed these countless references.
If you wish to consult the original versions of these texts, complete with references and notes, visit the websites whose links are provided at the end of this article.
It should also be noted that I did not include all the Nag Hammadi texts in my compilation. Some of them were simply too fragmented and therefore unreadable. This compilation is intended solely to make the reading and study of these important documents easier, and it is strictly distributed here free of charge.
