I don’t intend to repeat here all the information that circulates about these peculiar beings known as Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or Yeti…
The reason for this article is that I found it very interesting to see in a National Geographic documentary that a certain Bill Munns had been granted permission to digitize in high definition the original reel of the video recording made by Roger Patterson in 1967. Patterson’s widow had kept the precious reel safe.
Regarding this legendary creature, V.M. Samael Aun Weor mentioned the following in a lecture:
The Abominable Snowman, as he has been called, really exists and has been photographed not only in the Himalayas but also in America. Some can be found in deep jungles of South America, and there are also some in certain parts of California. Not very long ago, American magazines published a photograph of the “Snowman” taken in a deep forest in California… So, the “Yeti” lives in all the countries of our planet Earth.
He is a man, but he is perceived as a beast; he has never harmed anyone, yet he is hated and hunted for the “crime” of not wanting to mingle with our “super-civilization” (which, by the way, is not civilized at all). But we are selfish: we want to see the “Yeti” wearing pants, a tie, and a nice shirt, dressed in the fashion of the 20th century, etc., etc., etc. But since the Yeti insists on remaining isolated, he is hunted with dogs, shotguns, and people want to kill him. That is the sad reality of the Yeti!
